Exam dev 1.jpg

For my first exam development, I made a digital collage. I combined the style of two of my critical link artists, Kurt Schwitters and Eileen Agar. I used a different textures for the mini posters to reflect on Kurt Schwitters' work. My background was made specifically to resemble a noticeboard with posters attached to it, this was done in Eileen Agar's style as her work made use of interesting, textured backgrounds.

For my second exam development, I made another digital collage that combined the style of a different pair of my critical link artists, Jelle Martens and Lance Letscher. I used squares and rectangles that resembled picture frames to reflect on the work of both artists, my collage was also complete covered with these shapes and photographs as both art styles placed emphasis on a fully filled canvas.

Final exam dev.jpg

For my final exam development, I made a digital collage that makes use of the art styles of all 4 of my critical link artists. I used a textured background and posters arranged haphazardly to resemble Kurt Schwitters' unorganised style. The bubbles revealing only a section of my photographs was done specifically in Eileen Agar's collage style. I used differing colour schemes for my bubbles to reflect on Lance Letscher's colourful canvases. The bubbles were also chosen as they are geographical shapes that resemble the patterns used by Jelle Martens.
