David Carson's typography makes use of deconstructed words and symbols to create grungy, textured works.

In my 6 Carson developments I used transform and different blending tools to create a textured effect on my posters. This resembled Carsons illegible, dingy style of work. I also made use of overlapping words to draw viewers attention to the info without using bright colours.

My 6 Scher developments make use of vivid colours and the gradient tool to create contrast between the background and the text. This was done in the style of Paula Scher and most text revolved around an architecture photograph to highlight the angles and texture of the photograph.
